F-16 Block 70 deliveries

On 31 March 2025, three Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 70 Fighting Falcons, destined for the Vzdušné sily Ozbrojených sil Slovenskej Republiky (SAF, Slovak Air Force) and Bulgarski Voenno Vzdushni Sili (BVVS, Bulgarian Air Force), were delivered via Morón Air Base in Spain.

Paraguay A-29B delivery imminent?

On 19 November 2024 the contract for six A-29B for the Fuerza Aérea Paraguaya (FAP, Paraguayan Air Force) was finalised. Negotiations had started early last year and the first two airframes are ready for delivery, slated for May 2025.

First Hungarian Air Force L-39NGs

Czech Minister of Defense Jana Ásternochová and Slovak Minister of Defense Robert Kalinák visited the Czech company Aero Vodochody, which manufactures the L-39NGs, to speak about deepening defense-industrial cooperation between the Czech Republic and Slovakia. During their visit to the company the first two L-39NGs for the Magyar Légierö (Hungarian Air Force) were noted (serials 141/0539 and 142/0540).

AAR contract between Metrea and Indian Air Force

In addition to the wet lease contract for an Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft, the Bharatiya Vayu Sena (IAF, Indian Air Force) has signed a contract with Metrea, a provider of commercial air-to-air refueling (AAR), to enhance its AAR training capabilities.
